Provided are a wire extending jig, an electric wire/cable, and a method for extending an electric wire/cable, with which it is possible for an electric wire/cable having a connecting portion to be extended smoothly without imposing a load on the connecting portion.　A wire extending jig 1 for use when extending a first electric wire/cable 11, connected to a second electric wire/cable 12 by way of a connecting portion 13, by pulling the first electric wire/cable 11 to the second electric wire/cable 12 side, is provided with: an intermediate pull-type cable grip 2 attached to the first electric wire/cable 11; a pulling tool 3 which is attached to the intermediate pull-type cable grip 2, and which is disposed in such a way as to extend to the second electric wire/cable 12 side; and a holding tool 4 which is fixed to the pulling tool 3, and which holds at least a distal end A of the second electric wire/cable 12 or a part thereof in the vicinity of the distal end A in such a way that a gap forms between the holding tool 4 and the distal end A or the part in the vicinity of the distal end A.
