Abstract:
Provided is a wire gripper having a lightweight feeling and enabling attaching work to a linear object to be performed easily and safely.
A wire gripper of the present invention comprises: a fixed gripping body (20) having a linear object pressing portion (24); a swinging member (14); a movable gripping body (16) having a linear object holding portion (22); and a coupling member (18) coupled to the swinging member (14) by a rotationally moving shaft (72) and allowing the swinging member (14) to swing. A wire gripper main body (12) is provided with an index finger hanging portion (120) in a coupling member guide portion (26) for guiding the coupling member when pulling the coupling member (18) and attached with a gripping portion (140) in a freely rotationally movable manner, on the side toward which the coupling member (18) is pulled, so that the gripping portion (140) faces the index finger hanging portion (120). The gripping portion (140) is structured so as to be able to apply tension in order to pull the coupling member (18).
