In the present invention, a manufacturing system (100), which has multiple processing zones (2) for manufacturing a wire harness using subassemblies having multiple electric wires to which connectors are attached, is provided with: work trays (31) the number of which correspond to at least the multiple processing zones (2); a circulation type conveyance means (32) for sequentially conveying the work trays (31) in a horizontal state from an upstream side (A) to a downstream side (B) on an outward path disposed along the multiple processing zones (2) and for subsequently returning the work trays (31) from the downstream side (B) to the upstream side (A) on a homeward path; and a conveyance device (3) disposed along the multiple processing zones (2), and having an erection means (33) for setting the work tray (31) into an erect state, in which one end of the work tray (31) extending along the conveyance direction (L) of the work tray (31) is positioned above (E) the other end and for setting the work tray (31) from the erect state to the horizontal state.
