Abstract:
Disclosed is a wire harness equipped with a wire bundle and a protecting section that protects the aforementioned wire bundle by extending in the lengthwise direction of the aforementioned wire bundle while surrounding a portion of the aforementioned wire bundle, wherein: the aforementioned protecting section is provided with a base material and a binder material with a lower melting point than the aforementioned base material, which are joined at a joining section thereon by means of the cooling and solidification the aforementioned binder material that was melted; a first and second side are each the sections along the aforementioned lengthwise direction on the outer surface of the aforementioned protecting section; and in cases in which the aforementioned second side is disposed sandwiching the aforementioned wire bundle on the reverse side of the aforementioned first side, a portion of the aforementioned binder material in the aforementioned first and second sides is melted and solidified by cooling in a manner such that the aforementioned second side becomes harder than the aforementioned first side.
