Abstract:
The wire (2) and the wire harness (1) are characterized by the provision of a wire-shaped conductor (41), and a covering member (6) constituted from a covering main body portion (61) that covers the outer periphery side of the conductor (41), and, a rib portion (62) formed into a projection on the outer periphery surface (61a) of the covering main body portion (61) and integrally with the covering main body portion (61). Consequently, the wire (2) and the wire harness (1) have the effect of securing a predetermined stiffness via the rib portion (62) formed integrally with the covering main body portion (61), allowing a path to be constrained even without using a cladding member such as, for instance, a corrugated tube or a protector, and, therefore, allowing for an improvement in routing work.
