Abstract:
Provided is a wire harness which protects electric cables even if a pipe is damaged. The wire harness comprises electric cables (11) inserted into a pipe (12), and a protective member (14) which locally surrounds and protects the part of the electric cables (11) positioned at a predetermined site within a pipe (12). According to such a configuration, by establishing the protective member (14) at a site where there is a potential for damage due to the collision or the like of a vehicle, even if the pipe (12) were to be damaged, the electric cables (11) would be protected. Moreover, compared to the case in which the entire length of the electric cables (11) were surrounded by a protective member (14), it is easier to pass the electric cables (11) into the pipe (12), which makes it possible to avoid making the diameter of the pipe (12) larger to facilitate the work of passing electric cables therethrough.
