Abstract:
In a cord reel (210) capable of housing a power cord (250) for transmitting power from an external power source (500B) to a vehicle (100) that can be charged externally, the withdrawal of the power cord (250), which is wound around the cord reel (210), from the cord reel (210) is controlled on the basis of the temperature of the power cord (250). As a result, it is possible to prevent any impact on the surroundings, such as causing damage to equipment, and the like, that are touched by a hot charging cord.
