Abstract:

The present invention provides a wire rod for cold heading which can shorten spheroidizing heat treatment time, a processed product using the same, and a method for manufacturing same. A wire rod for cold heading according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises, in percentage by weight: 0.15-0.5% of C; 0.1-0.4% of Si; 0.3-1.5% of Mn; 0.1-1.5% of Cr; 0.02-0.05 of Al; 0.004-0.02% of N; at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.001-0.03% of Nb, 0.01-0.3% of V, 0.01-0.5% of Mo, and 0.001 to 0.03% of Ti; and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the microstructure thereof has an aspect ratio of cementite present in a pearlite colony of 200:1 or less.
