Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a wire rope lubrication device that is less susceptible to load repetitions. A lubrication device (6) comprises a roller (11) and a lubrication pipe (12). The roller (11) is elastic. The roller (11) is permeated with oil for lubricating a wire rope (4) wound on a sheave (3). The roller (11) has rotational symmetry. The lubrication pipe (12) has a central axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the sheave (3). The lubrication pipe (12) serves as the axis of rotation of the roller (11) and supports the roller (11) so that the roller (11) is capable of rotation. The lubrication pipe (12) has a channel (14) therein. The channel (14) of the lubrication pipe (12) supplies the oil for lubricating the wire rope (4) to the roller (11). The distance (x) from the external face of the lubrication pipe (12) to the surface of the portion of the wire rope (4) wound on the sheave (3) is shorter than the thickness (t) of the roller (11) in the radial direction.
