Abstract:
To provide a wire winding device whereby each layer is flatly wound automatically without being affected by the dimensions of a bobbin used, a change of a wire feeding speed, and a change of the rotation speed of the bobbin. This wire winding device is provided with: a rotating means (12) for a bobbin (11); a traverser (14) for the bobbin (11); a distance sensor (20) that measures the winding radius r of a wire (17); a storage device (22) that stores the value of the winding radius r thus measured by the distance sensor (20); and a control means (23) that calculates the inversion position of the traverser for the bobbin (11) on the basis of the value of the winding radius r thus stored in the storage device (22). The distance sensor (20) is at a position between a flange (21) and the entry position of the wire (17).
