Abstract:
Provided are: a wire (1) with a connector with which it is possible to obtain excellent adhesion both at the interface between an insulator (22) and a seal layer (5) and at the interface between a connector housing (4) and the seal layer (5); and a wire harness in which the wire (1) with a connector is used. The wire (1) with a connector has: an insulated wire (2), which has a conductor (21) and a silicone-containing insulator (22) that sheathes the outer periphery of the conductor (21); a connector terminal (3) connected to the conductor (21) exposed upon some of the insulator (22) being peeled away; a plastic connector housing (4) in which the terminal part of the insulated wire (2) and a part of the connector terminal (3) are embedded; and a seal layer (5) provided between the surface of the insulator (22) at the terminal part of the insulated wire (2) and the connector housing (4) for covering the outer periphery said surface. The seal layer (5) comprises a tacky adhesive.
