Abstract:
A wireless access method and device. The method comprises: determining whether the number of currently accessing terminals is greater than or equal to a preset threshold; and if the number of the currently accessing terminals is greater than or equal to the preset threshold, stopping broadcasting service set identifier (SSID) information. Embodiments of the present invention reduce power consumption of terminals for accessing a wireless network, prevent terminals from wasting time on invalid accesses, and improve user experience.
