Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless access network device, comprising: a first virtual machine and a second virtual machine, wherein a virtual user equipment of a user equipment is disposed in the first virtual machine; a virtual application server of an application server is disposed in the second virtual machine; the first virtual machine and the second virtual machine are provided with communication interfaces; and the communication interfaces are configured for data transmission between the virtual user equipment and the virtual application server. Correspondingly, disclosed are a method and apparatus for configuring a wireless access network device. By the implementation of embodiments of the present invention, the access time delay and traffic consumption of a user equipment and an application server can be reduced.
