Abstract:
A wireless communication system which suitably detects a cell adjacent to a certain cell. A wireless base station (1) comprises a reception unit (1a) and a control unit (1b). The reception unit (1a) receives adjacent cell information (5a, 5b) on a plurality of first cells (4a, 4b, 4c) from other wireless base stations (2, 3). Based on the adjacency relationship among the plurality of first cells (4a, 4b, 4c) indicated by the received adjacent cell information (5a, 5b), the control unit (1b) detects from the plurality of first cells (4a, 4b, 4c), the cells which are adjacent to a second cell (4d) managed by the wireless base station (1).
