Abstract:
A resource determination unit (7) determines at least a portion in any downlink sub-frame as a first resource, and determines at least a portion of an uplink pilot timeslot (UpPTS) or a portion of an uplink sub-frame as a second resource for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS). Until the SRS is received following determination of the first resource, a transmission path state estimator (9) receives the SRS in accordance with a demodulation reference signal (DRS) included in uplink user data, and estimates the state of the transmission path to a wireless terminal in accordance with the SRS.
