According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for operating a wireless blasting system including a blasting apparatus and electronic detonators communicating with each other via a wireless network comprises the steps of: synchronizing a detonator reference time of the electronic detonators with a reference blasting time of the blasting apparatus; calculating a communication delay time of each of the electronic detonators; transmitting, by the blasting apparatus, a blasting command including a blasting time to the electronic detonators; checking a time input state and a detonator state of the electronic detonators to determine whether blasting is prepared; and when preparation of the electronic detonators is completed for a blast, counting down, by the electronic detonators, a detonating time that reflects the communication delay time of each of the electronic detonators to initiate a blast.
