Abstract:
A wireless charging method and a terminal. The method comprises: a terminal obtains a voltage threshold supported by a power management chip and a plurality of output voltages supported by a wireless charger and corresponding upper output current limits thereof (101); the terminal determines, according to the plurality of output voltages and the voltage threshold, a voltage conversion coefficient and sends a charging request to the wireless charger, wherein the charging request comprises a requested voltage and a requested current, the requested voltage being not greater than the maximum output voltage that is the product of the voltage threshold and the reciprocal of the voltage conversion coefficient, and the requested current being not greater than the upper output current limit corresponding to the requested voltage (102); and the terminal generates a charging signal under the excitation of a wireless signal output by the wireless charger, and performs voltage and current conversion on the charging signal according to the voltage conversion coefficient and a current conversion coefficient, so as to obtain an input signal of the power management chip, wherein the current conversion coefficient is the reciprocal of the voltage conversion coefficient (103).
