Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the power consumption during data demodulation. [Solution] A wireless communication apparatus comprises: a local oscillator that generates a local signal; a first mixer that mixes an input binary continuous phase frequency shift keying signal with the local signal to generate a baseband signal; a first filter that removes unnecessary frequency components included in the baseband signal; a delayer that delays an output signal of the first filter by one symbol; and a detector that uses the output signal of the first filter and an output signal of the delayer to demodulate the continuous phase frequency shift keying signal. The modulation index m of the continuous phase frequency shift keying signal is a value expressed by m = n + k (where 0 < n < 1, and k is an integer equal to or greater than zero), and the frequency of the local signal is a frequency obtained by shifting the carrier frequency of the continuous phase frequency shift keying signal by a frequency corresponding to 0 or 1 of the continuous phase frequency shift keying signal.
