Abstract:
A wireless communication apparatus comprises: a wireless communication control unit that outputs a message upon receipt via another wireless communication apparatus of a wireless signal addressed to the wireless communication apparatus and including a message related to path control; and a network control unit that, if the message input from the wireless communication control unit is a path setting request designating an adjacent wireless communication apparatus that is passed through as an upstream path leading to a gateway, transmits, on the upstream path satisfying the designation of the path setting request, a downstream path control message including the address information of the wireless communication apparatus. Accordingly, a path can be fixed using RPL.
