Abstract:

Disclosed is a wireless communication apparatus which can be matched to a discretionary load impedance and extends the operation frequency band even when an input impedance of an IC chip cannot be freely selected. The wireless communication apparatus is provided with a first conductor (ground conductor (1)); a second conductor (2) arranged substantially in parallel with the first conductor (1); a port (slot (3)) formed on the second conductor (2); capacitive coupling means (4a, 4b) arranged close to the port; and a communication circuit (IC chip (5)) having at least a radiowave transmission function or a radiowave receiving function. The communication circuit is connected between two sections on the conductor in the vicinity of the boundary between the second conductor (2) and the port, by having the capacitive coupling means (4a, 4b) in between.
