Abstract:
This wireless communication apparatus is provided with: a main body structure material, such as a metallic housing (92); and a planar coil antenna, which is disposed on the inner side of the main body structure material to face the main body structure material, and which has a coil pattern (20) and a coil opening (20A). The wireless communication apparatus is also provided with first slit patterns (11a, 11b, 11c, 11d), which are formed in the main body structure material, and which intersect the coil pattern (20) at least at two areas of the coil pattern (20) in a planar view, said first slit patterns not being connected to peripheral end sections of the main body structure material. Consequently, mechanical strength is ensured, thereby ensuring predetermined communication performance.
