Abstract:

When EDCA access parameters are uniquely set, there are problems in that QoS cannot be properly achieved and transmission efficiency deteriorates if the transmission rate changes. A relay device is a wireless communication device that transmits received data according to priority, and is equipped with a transmitter (11) that transmits the received data, a rate measuring unit (12) that measures the rate at which the transmitter (11) transmits data, and a priority controller (14) that variably controls the transmission wait time during which the transmitter (11) stands by before starting to transmit the data according to the transmission rate of the transmitter (11) measured by the rate measuring unit (12). The transmitter transmits the data according to transmission control by the priority controller (14).
