Abstract:
This wireless communication device (10) is connected to a call button (1) for calling an elevator. A call button press detection unit (101) detects the call button being pressed. A sleep control unit (106) sets the wireless communication device (10) to a sleep state until pressing of the call button (1) is detected by the call button press detection unit (101), sets the wireless communication device (10) to an awake state upon detection of the pressing of the call button (1) by the call button press detection unit (101), and sets the wireless communication device (10) to a sleep state after the completion of elevator arrival processing, which is processing that is performed in response to the arrival of the elevator.
