Abstract:
A wireless communication device is provided with a plurality of wireless communication
means (1) and (2), the communication system of which is different from each other.
The wireless communication device is comprised of a measuring means (10a) for
measuring a consumption of electric power which each of a plurality of means including
the wireless communication means (1) or (2) consumes at its communication time
or its test communication time in accordance with each communication system,
a calculating means (10) for calculating the totally consumed amount of the electric
power indicative of the sum total of the consumed electric power measured by the
measuring means (10a), and a first selecting means (10) for selecting a communication
system used at the initiation of communication based on the sum total of the electric
power consumed by each communication system at its communication time.
