Abstract:
In order to identify a BSS to which a wireless communication device, to which a physical layer frame is addressed, belongs and improve preamble detection accuracy by means of a change in a reception operation, this wireless communication device is provided with: a reception unit that detects a frame that includes information for identifying the BSS; and a control unit that switches between a first operation in the event that said frame is a frame relating to the BSS to which the device itself belongs, and a second operation in the event that said frame is a frame that does not relate to the BSS to which the device itself belongs. The first operation consists of not performing carrier sensing, and the second operation consists of performing carrier sensing.
