Abstract:
A wireless communication device having reduced electricity consumption is provided. A wireless communication device (1) contains: a timer (21) that periodically outputs an interrupt signal (SN1); and a communication unit (3). The communication unit (3) has a storage unit (31), which stores reception settings (D1), and if an interrupt signal (SN1) is inputted, the communication unit (3) uses the reception settings (D1) stored in the storage unit (31) to intermittently receive a radio wave (SN4). A control unit (2) controls the communication unit (3). The reception settings (D1) are written to the storage unit (31) by the control unit (2) when the control unit (2) is activated.
