Abstract:
This wireless communication device is provided with: a reflecting plate on which a reflecting surface for reflecting an electromagnetic wave is formed; a radome which covers the reflecting plate to form a ventilation flow path between itself and the reflecting surface and in which a suction hole and an exhaust hole that communicate with the ventilation flow path are formed; an array antenna having a plurality of antenna elements which are disposed from the reflecting surface toward the interior of the ventilation flow path and are spaced apart on the reflecting surface; and a communication circuit which transmits/receives a wireless signal by exciting the array antenna. In each of the plurality of antenna elements, an antenna pattern is formed on a plate-shaped dielectric substrate extending from the reflecting surface in a direction perpendicular thereto. The heat radiation effect of heat generated by the communication circuit is improved by convection of air in the ventilation flow path of the radome.
