Abstract:
Disclosed are a wireless communication method in a Wi-Fi network, and an electronic device and an external device for performing same. An electronic device comprises a communication module for communicating with an external device, and at least one processor for controlling communication, wherein the at least one processor: determines whether switching of a communication connection to an external device other than a currently connected external device is required; when it is determined that switching of the communication connection to another external device is required, activates multi-link operation links; receives a management frame of one or more candidate external devices received through the multi-link operation links; determines a target external device subject to a communication connection, on the basis of the received management frame; and makes a communication connection to the determined target external device.
