Abstract:

Provided in the embodiments of the present application are a wireless communication method, a terminal device and a network device. The method comprises: reporting first indication information to a radio resource control (RRC) layer of a terminal device by means of a media access control (MAC) layer of same, so as to trigger the RRC layer to send an RRC reconfiguration completion message to a network device, wherein the first indication information is used for indicating that the terminal device has completed the handover of a serving cell; or sending the first indication information to the network device by means of a Layer 1 or a Layer 2 of the terminal device. The method provided in the present application can not only facilitate the implementation, by the terminal device, of the handover of a serving cell of the terminal device on the basis of a bottom layer, but can also reduce the time delay of cell handover.
