Abstract:
Provided are a wireless communication system, a wireless access management device, a server management device, and an edge server switching method which provide seamless service, even when a terminal device, which receives the service by using an edge server, performs handover. The wireless access management device transmits, to the server management device, a transition request of data accumulated in each edge server, when the terminal device performs the handover. The server management device responds to the transition request; executes a transition control for the accumulated data of the terminal device, which has been accumulated in a movement source edge server, on the basis of information about the movement source edge server corresponding to a movement source base station device and information about a movement destination edge server corresponding to a movement destination base station device; and transmits, to the wireless access management device, a transition completion notification which indicates the completion of the transition control. The wireless access management device responds to the transition completion notification and executes a handover control for handing over the terminal device.
