Title:
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND BASE STATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/090215
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless communication system that comprises relay stations (20) within a cell, which relay communications between a base station (10) and terminals (30), and that employs a transmission system in which a signal, in which part of a symbol is copied, is added to the symbol as a cyclic prefix, wherein the length of the cyclic prefix added to the signal is adaptively set when a common report service signal offered to multiple terminals (30) in the aforementioned cell is transmitted. Thus, by appropriately setting the CP length added to the MBMS signal according to the circumstances, when performing MBMS transmission in a relay station-equipped wireless communication system, a wireless communication system that can perform efficient transmission while preventing degradation of characteristics can be provided.
