Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to improve coupling between a coil antenna and a wireless communication tag. A wireless communication system (1) is provided with a first unit (2), a coil antenna (3), a conductive ring (4), a second unit (5), and a wireless communication tag (6). A first coil conductor (31) of the coil antenna (3) is wound along a first lateral surface (23) of the first unit (2). The conductive ring (4) is disposed along the first lateral surface (23) of the first unit (2) and has a slit. The second unit (5) has a second lateral surface (52) and is detachably attached to the first unit (2) in a first direction (D1). The wireless communication tag (6) includes a second coil conductor (61) and is disposed along the second lateral surface (52) of the second unit (5). In the first direction (D1), a first minimum distance (L11) between the conductive ring (4) and the second coil conductor (61) is shorter than a second minimum distance (L21) between the first coil conductor (31) and the second coil conductor (61).
