Abstract:
A wireless communication system includes a plurality of AP devices (2-1, 2-2,
..., 2-n), a diversity device (3) disposed between a network and a plurality of
base stations to relay a packet transmitted and received between the network
and an STA (4), wherein the STA (4) is provided with a sequence number giving means
for giving a sequence number to a packet that the STA (4) transmits to its partner
communication terminal device and a multicast transmitting means for carrying
out multicast transmission of the packet with the sequence number given by the
sequence number giving mean to a plurality of the AP devices (2-1, 2-2, ..., 2-n)
and, in the case where the diversity device (3) receives a plurality of packets
that the STA (4) transmits and that the same sequence number is given, the diversity
device (3) is provided with a packet selecting means for selecting, as a transmitting
packet, any one of a plurality of the packets to the network.
