Abstract:
A wireless communication system is provided for making it possible to give a wireless
terminal device a permission to connect with a wireless LAN through a simple procedure
in the case that the wireless terminal device connects with a wireless network.
A wireless LAN access point (1100), which communicates with a wireless LAN terminal
device (1000) that stores personal identification information to identify
an individual, is comprised of a wireless interface for receiving through the
wireless network personal identification information (1005) transmitted
from the wireless LAN terminal device (1000) in the case that a connection for
transmitting and receiving data is set up, and a connection permitting unit (1102)
that makes the personal identification information (1105) received by the wireless
interface (1101) output to an input and output unit (1103) and sets up a connection
in the case that a connection is permitted when receiving information on connection
permission to indicate whether or not a network manager (1901) has permitted
the connection in response to the output of the personal identification information
(1005).
