Provided is a wireless communication system that comprises external environment sensors (51, 52), a communication unit (47b), and a control unit (4). The external environment sensors (51, 52) acquire external environment information. The communication unit (47b) can communicate on prescribed frequency channels in a prescribed bandwidth. The control unit (4) acquires first control information from another communication terminal (46) via the communication unit (47b) and outputs second control information that differs from the first control information and the external environment information to the other communication terminal (46) via the communication unit (47b). On the basis of the communication state of the frequency channels, the control unit (4) can change the ratio of a data amount of the first control information to a data amount of the external environment information from a first ratio to a second ratio that has a lower external environment information data-amount than the first ratio.
