Abstract:
The present invention improves a required C/N of a wireless communication system in which a transmission device wirelessly transmits a signal to a receiving device. A BCJR decoder 22 decodes information bits so as to maximize a posteriori probability on the basis of a log-likelihood ratio with respect to encoded bits obtained by a demodulator 21 and prior information on the information bits. A selection unit 2a selects, from among RS decoding results of packets of N patterns, what to output as a decoded result on the basis of a syndrome calculation result of each packet. Interleaving 2b is performed on information based on the selection result from the selection unit 2a, for sorting in the same sequence as that of interleaving 12 of a transmitter. Information after the sorting by the interleaving 2b is fed back to the BCJR decoder 22 as prior information corresponding to the information bits.
