Abstract:
In wireless communication system that implements control such that signals are not transmitted using some of the wireless resources of the downstream signals or signals are transmitted with a reduced transmission power within a cell provided by a base station, a wireless communication terminal receives control information that is to be used to generate a report pertaining to the measurement results for the cell provided by the base station, monitors the condition of a wireless link to the local cell of the wireless communication terminal, performs measurements related to the reception of the downstream signals, generates a wireless link failure report including the measurement results when a wireless link failure occurs, and transmits the wireless link failure report to the outside. After a wireless link failure occurs, if control information from the base station to which the wireless communication terminal is connected includes an instruction to limit the measurements to some of the radio resources, then the wireless communication terminal generates a wireless link failure report including the measurement results for the designated radio resources when the wireless link failure occurred. Therefore, even in an environment where ABS is used, an external device can precisely assess whether a wireless link failure has occurred in the wireless communication terminal.
