Abstract:
To provide a wireless communication terminal having a power saving control function
that does not affect the performance during a high-speed communication. The
wireless communication terminal comprises a processor having a power saving
control function that reduces the operational clock rate under predetermined
conditions; and a wireless communication part that can perform communication
at a high-speed or low-speed data communication rate. During communication
at the high-speed data communication rate such as HSDPA, the power saving control
function of the processor is disabled to inhibit the operational clock rate from
being switched to a low-rate side.
