Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a feature making it possible to adequately suppress consumption of charged power in a charge unit. When a load current flowing to a load part side exceeds the allowable value for a current supplied from a power supply unit, an LDO regulator performs an allowable-value restriction of restricting current outputted from the LDO regulator, which is used for the load current. The charge unit supplements the load current by discharging power during the allowable value restriction. The LDO regulator performs the allowable-value restriction using a constant current mode function of restricting an increase in the supplied current, produced when operation of the LDO regulator is launched.
