Abstract:
[Problem] To realize high-precision calculation of the opposing-direction separation distance between electricity-supplying and -receiving coils without using a special sensor. [Solution] A wireless electricity supply device Ut for wirelessly transmitting power to a wireless power-receiving device Ur by magnetic coupling of an electricity-supplying coil and an electricity-receiving coil, wherein the wireless electricity supply device Ut comprises: an electricity supply circuit Ct that includes a power conversion circuit PS for converting DC power to AC power of a drive frequency, and an electricity-supplying coil unit Ltu including an electricity-supplying coil that receives AC power supplied from the power conversion circuit PS and generates an AC magnetic field; and a control circuit Stu that controls the magnetic flux amount generated from the electricity-supplying coil. The control circuit Stu calculates the opposing-direction separation distance between the electricity-supplying coil and the electricity-receiving coil from the circuit characteristic value of the wireless electricity supply device Ut in a state in which the magnetic flux amount generated from the electricity-supplying coil is controlled to be constant.
