Abstract:
This wireless endoscope is provided with: a plurality of circuit units including a light source unit, an imaging unit, a communication unit and a power supply; a standby activation control unit for controlling a transition to a first standby mode, which maintains a pairing state established by the communication unit while reducing power consumption compared to that in a normal operation mode in which power is supplied to all of the plurality of circuit units from the power supply, or a transition to a second standby mode, which releases the pairing state established by the communication unit while reducing power consumption compared to that in the first standby mode; a standby stop control unit for controlling a transition from the first standby mode or the second standby mode to the normal operation mode; and a power control unit that controls the supply of power to the circuit units in the first and second standby modes.
