Abstract:
Disclosed are a wireless energy receiving device and a portable electronic device including the same. Said wireless energy receiving device is a wireless energy receiving device including a full-wave rectifier, wherein said full-wave rectifier comprises: an antenna which has a ring-shaped radiator having a central part that is connected with a ground, and induces currents in different directions according to the polarity of an input signal that is received through said radiator; a first diode which is connected to one end of said antenna, and rectifies a current of a first polarity, induced by said antenna; and a second diode which is connected to the other end of said antenna, and rectifies a current of a second polarity, induced by said antenna. Said wireless energy receiving device removes an existing transformer, and the ring antenna replaces the function of the transformer whereby power loss caused by a resistance component of the transformer is removed, thereby increasing power efficiency and enabling miniaturization of a portable electronic device.
