Abstract:
A wireless IC device which can detect environmental conditions, such as humidity and temperature, without a contact is provided at low cost without significantly increasing the number of parts.
The wireless IC device has, between a feed circuit substrate and an antenna, an insulating material wherein electrical characteristics change in a fixed manner in accordance with a change of the predetermined environmental conditions, and the environmental conditions are detected on the basis of the state of the characteristics of communication between the wireless IC device and an external reader apparatus.
