Abstract:
Provided are a wireless network switching method and apparatus, which relate to the field of communications and can solve the problem of service packet loss during terminal switching. The method involves: a switching device acquiring the distance between a terminal and a current access point so as to determine a changing trend of the distance between the terminal and the current access point; and if the switching device determines, according to a corresponding relationship between the changing trend and a neighbouring access point of the current access point, a target access point to which the terminal is to be switched, then the switching device switching the terminal from the current access point to the target access point. The embodiments of the present invention are applied to the scenario where a terminal is switched and roams between freeway WiFi networks.
