Abstract:
Disclosed are a wireless networking method and apparatus for an air-conditioning system. The method comprises: an external unit of an air-conditioning system reading a card with a hole to obtain first identification information, represented by a hole code of the card with a hole, of the external unit; the external unit acquiring a connection request sent by a device to be networked, wherein the connection request is used for requesting a wireless local area network connected to the external unit; the external unit acquiring, according to the connection request, second identification information included in the connection request, wherein the device to be networked obtains the second identification information via the card with a hole; and where the external unit verifies that the second identification information matches the first identification information, the external unit giving the device to be networked access to the wireless local area network. The present application solves the problem in the related art of a wired communication multi-split air conditioner having difficulties in installation and wiring and in procedural maintenance.
