Abstract:
A wireless power receiver for receiving wireless power from a wireless power transmitter comprises: a first coil for receiving wireless power transmitted inductively; a second coil and a third coil for receiving wireless power transmitted resonantly; an RXIC which forms a full bridge structure, and which includes a first rectifier circuit including a first FET, a second FET, a third FET, and a fourth FET; and a second rectifier circuit, wherein an output terminal of the second rectifier circuit is connected to an output terminal of the first rectifier circuit, sources of the first FET and the second FET are connected to a ground, and, when the first FET and the second FET are switched to an on-state and the third FET and the fourth FET are switched to an off-state, if the wireless power transmitter inductively transmits the wireless power, the wireless power receiver receives the wireless power through the first coil, and converts the received wireless power to DC power by body diodes of the third FET and the fourth FET to receive power for booting the RXIC, and, if the wireless power transmitter resonantly transmits the wireless power, the wireless power receiver receives the wireless power by inducing current in the third coil on the basis of a magnetic field generated in the second coil, and rectifies the received wireless power by means of the second rectifier circuit to receive power for booting the RXIC. Other various embodiments are possible.
