Abstract:
[Problem] In wireless power transmission, to improve accuracy of detection of metal foreign objects between a power transmission coil and a power receiving coil.
[Solution] This wireless power supply device 10, for transmitting power wirelessly with an alternating magnetic field that oscillates at a prescribed power transmission frequency, is provided with a power transmission coil L1, an antenna coil L3, a capacitor C3 which forms a resonance circuit RC together with the antenna coil L3, a noise detection unit 15A which detects noise oscillation at frequencies above the power transmission frequency, and a foreign body detection unit 140 which detects the presence or absence of magnetic foreign bodies on the basis of change in the voltage or current generated in the resonance circuit RC and on the basis of the result of noise detection by the noise detection unit 15A.
