Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless power transmission method and apparatus. The wireless power transmission apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an AC power generator for converting DC power to AC power on the basis of a reference signal; a transmission coil coupled to an output end of the AC power generator; a demodulator coupled to the transmission coil; and a controller for providing the reference signal to the AC power generator, wherein the controller may receive first information via the demodulator, control a frequency of the reference signal according to an operating frequency control scheme which is identified on the basis of the first information, and control a charging mode on the basis of a second information received via the demodulator. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage of being capable of providing an optimal charging environment for each receiver.
