Abstract:
An embodiment provides a wireless power transmission and reception apparatus for an electric vehicle, the apparatus comprising: a transmission unit including a transmission coil and a first magnetic sheet provided on one side of the transmission coil; and a reception unit including a reception coil supplied with wireless power via an alternating magnetic field generated from the transmission unit, and a second magnetic sheet provided on one side of the reception coil, wherein the ratio of the inductance of the reception unit to the inductance of the transmission unit is 0.9 to 1.5. According to an embodiment, wireless power transmission efficiency can be maximized via the optimum inductance ratio between the transmission unit and the reception unit.
