Abstract:
Provided is a wireless power transmission system (100) that transmits power from a power transmitting device (1) to a power receiving device (2) by means of electric field coupling, wherein the power receiving device (2) is provided with the following: a power receiving module (25) that includes a circuit that rectifies and smoothes alternating current voltage occurring between an active electrode (11) and a passive electrode (12); a secondary battery (3A); and a heat conduction plate (13) that conveys, to the power transmitting device (1), heat generated in the power receiving module (25) at the time of power transmission from the power transmitting device (1). The power transmitting device (1) is provided with the following: a power transmitting module (15) that converts input direct current voltage to alternating current voltage and applies that voltage between the active electrode (11) and the passive electrode (12); and a heat conduction plate (13) that contacts a heat conduction plate (23) and receives heat from the power receiving device (2). Thus, provided is a wireless power transmission system that suppresses temperature increases in a power receiving device even if "driving equipment while charging", which is when generated heat is greatest, and also prevents an increase in device size.
